Pasta Carbonara recipe

Pasta Carbonara ingredients list:
2 garlic cloves, minced.
6 cups of spaghetti, cooked.
1 cup of low-fat milk.
¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese.
6 ounces of turkey bacon, chopped.
6 tablespoons of egg substitute.
2 tablespoons of minced fresh parsley.
¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper.

Instructions for Pasta Carbonara:
Cook bacon in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until crisp.

Add the garlic and saute 1 minute or until tender.

Reduce the heat to low; then stir in the pasta, cheese, parsley, and pepper.

Serve immediately.

Pasta with Anchovy Wine Sauce ingredients list:
1 pound fettuccine
3 tablespoons olive oil
¼ cup pine nuts
10 anchovy fillets
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
¼ cup dry red wine
1 cup prepared marinara sauce

Instructions for Pasta with Anchovy Wine Sauce:
1) Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

2) Heat oil in a large skillet over medium. Add nuts, anchovies, and garlic; cook until anchovies melt, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.

3) Add wine to skillet; simmer until liquid is reduced, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Add marinara; stir to mix well. Simmer 2 minutes, until slightly thickened. Add reserved pasta; toss well and serve.

Notes about this recipe:

Sesame Noodles recipe

Sesame Noodles ingredients list:
6 oz of vermicelli, uncooked.
½ garlic clove, minced.
½ cup of carrots, shredded.
¼ cup of green onion, sliced.
½ tablespoon of sesame seeds.
½ tablespoon of olive oil.
2 teaspoons of soy sauce.
½ teaspoon of sesame oil.
¼ teaspoon of ginger root, grated.

Instructions for Sesame Noodles:
Cut the noodles into four-inch pieces and cook as advised on the packaging.

Drain and keep warm.

Cook the sesame seeds in a wok over medium-high heat until they are lightly toasted. Remove and set aside.

Heat the olive oil in the same wok over medium-high heat until hot.

Add the garlic, ginger root, and carrots. Cook and stir for about 2 minutes, until lightly browned.

Add the onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and cooked noodles. Cook and stir for about 3 minutes.
