Ingredients:
1 banana per person, unpeeled.
Single cream.
Brown sugar.
Directions: Put the bananas on the grill close to the heat. Cook them until the side on the grid is black, turn over, and cook again on the other side. This should be about 10 minutes a side.
When the skins are thoroughly black, put one on each plate and cut open gently so you havea skin full of banana. Sprinkle the brown sugar along the top and pour a little cream over.

Blueberry and Banana Bread recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup Sugar.
½ cup Shortening.
1 cup mashed bananas.
2 Eggs.
½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts.
1 ½ cup Flour.
½ cup Quick-cook oats.
¼ teaspoon Salt.
1 teaspoon Baking soda.
½ cup of Fresh blueberries.
Directions:
Cream the shortening gradually, adding the sugar, and beat until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the banana.
Combine the remaining ingredients, stirring gently, and then add them to the creamed mixture, stirring well.
Spoon the mixture into a greased and floured 9x5x3-inch loaf tin.
Bake for 50-55 minutes on a high heat, until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in the tin for 10 minutes before removing and cooling on a wire rack.

Breakfast Banana Relish recipe
Ingredients:
2 lb barely ripe bananas
4 tablespoons of Unsalted butter.
¾ cup of firmly packed brown sugar.
Juice of 1 lemon.
Juice and zest of one orange.
3 oz Raisins, pre-soaked in 2 tbsp of rum.
1 cup of chopped Toasted pecans.
Freshly grated nutmeg and cinnamon to taste.
Directions:
In a large skillet, melt the butter and then add the brown sugar.
Cook over low heat until the sugar melts and begins to bubble.
Peel bananas and cut them in half lengthwise. Make slices across each slice so each piece of banana is about ½ by ½ inch.
Turn the heat up and add the sliced bananas to the sugar and butter mixture.
Add the remaining ingredients, including the rum in which the raisins were soaked, and bring to vigorous simmer.
Serve immediately.
Chocolate Baked Bananas recipe
Ingredients:
4 large Ripe bananas.
1 pkt White chocolate buttons.
1 pkt Dark chocolate buttons.
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 220 C.
Make a slit along one side of the babana using a sharp knife.
In the silt, put in the chocolate buttons alternating white and dark.
Tightly wrap each banana in tin foil and put them in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Serve in the foil wrapping.
